neither here nor there
I still say that “Doomsday Machine” stands out as MAmott’s best songwriting.
Anthems of Rebellion is the last AE album I checked out…
I feel an Amazon metal spending binge coming on…
DM is simply an amazing metal album. For starters, the album’s pacing is amazing. It’s like a good roller coaster ride… slow bits spaced with intense moments at just the right places. Hard to pick out standout songs because they’re all so damn good in their own respect, and with the pacing from track to track, it’s a “sum is greater than the whole of its parts” situation.
it’s one of the few albums I can drop in the CD player, hit play, and just keep driving from start to finish.
